BCA Projects challenge
In January 2015, our team got together to plot the course ahead for Beyond Care Africa. While plans will change in light of unexpected opportunities and challenges, the BCA Team for now here’s what we seek support from all well wishers/Donors to accomplish in 2020.
BCA welcomes Donors, Volunteers or Students, both undergraduate and graduate, from all disciplines are welcome to join any of our programs that BCA offer in Moshi Kilimanjaro Tanzania.
Programs can range from two weeks to six months or longer and can be combined for those interested in participating in more than one project.
Interns have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of work, including charity & social work, entrepreneurship, conservation, humanitarian relief, internships, Teaching English and training, Public Health Education, counseling and displaced people, community development, International Health, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security women’s empowerment, caring for children and others. They can work in orphanages, schools, clinics, communities, nature reserves and villages.
The goal is to provide useful words and phrases that volunteers may encounter while working in some Tanzanian Urban and rural villages.
We place volunteers/interns from all over the world in our volunteering/internship programs located in different projects in Moshi Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania. We currently have volunteer opportunities throughout Kilimanjaro region.
The network continues to expand with new programs currently being assessed & designed in different Tanzanian Region.
BCA offer volunteer programs for participants from developed countries to work together with us in our Country on urban and rural based sustainable community development projects. Volunteers are invited to participate with BCA Staffs in developing and supporting activities that provide opportunities for healing and spreading awareness about critical local needs. We need volunteers to work with us on the following fields: Conservation, organic gardening, teaching English, health programs, sustainable development, and rain forest preservation.
As a BCA volunteer, you are in for an adventure of a lifetime in support, learning and cultural exchange that will last a lifetime!
Our programs are more affordable compared to other NGOs . We are proud to focus on the humanitarian aspects, and not the profit. We work very hard and smart to keep costs down, especially for you the volunteer/student, as we know the value of your donated time and efforts. We remain devoted to maintaining both the quality of the program and the safety of all volunteer/students involved.
Generally speaking, you can start any project on any day. When you apply, you will specify the start and end dates. Our projects run all year round.
Group Trips for Students: There is one exception to our “any start date” policy: We arrange various group trips for students of many different ages. Since these are group trips, everyone starts and finishes on the same dates.
If you are a teenager (16 to 19 years old) and enrolled in full-time education you can join us on a High School Special. Each volunteer project follows a schedule of taught sessions, hands-on and observational support work, as well as evening activities and weekend excursions. Lasting two to four weeks, these teen volunteer in Tanzania programs are designed to make the most of your short time in Tanzania while contributing to the local community projects.
